British Library
British Library is located is one of the most visited tourist attractions in London. The British Library is the largest library in the world and is also listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. The British Library houses more than 920000 journals and newspapers, 14 million books, 58 million patents and 3 million recordings. The British Library is a not just a boon for the people who love to read but also for foodies or the people who love to eat. The in-house cage and restaurants at the library serve mouth-watering cuisines in traditional English fashion. The museum is also next to some of the other London attractions like the Victoria and Albert Museum and British Museum. The British Library has more than 150 million items stored inside it and is also considered one of the most coveted research libraries of the world. London has several libraries, art galleries and museums that travelers from all over the world flock. British Library is one of them. The Kings Cross St Pancras tube station is the nearest London Underground tube station and the British Library also has an underground access through the subway. British Library is a must go place in London.

Access & Disabled Facilities.
There are 4 designated parking bays for 'orange or blue badge' holders on the east side of the building (Midland Road), near Gate 5 which gives level access on to the Library's Piazza (forecourt).
NB: Midland Road is currently closed except for the use of the disability parking bays.

There are toilets on all floors of the Library, including adapted toilets for those with disabilities.
Lifts, stairs and escalators
All lifts have vocal announcements and controls at a convenient height for wheelchair users.
Hearing impaired visitors
A Text telephone is available at the Information Desk for public use. The number is +44 (0)20 7387 0634. All public telephones are fitted with inductive couplers. Induction loops are fitted at all information, enquiry and sales desks. Induction loops are installed in many areas of the Conference Centre, including the Auditorium.
