Green Park

Green Park

The Green Park is spread over an area of 21 hectares and is one of the prime Royal Parks in London. The Green is located in the middle of other two Royal Parks in London namely the St James Park and the Hyde Park. The Greenwich Park is the only royal park which does not include any lakes unlike its neighbouring royal parks. Green Park is surrounded by paths which are used by jogging and running by the locals or Londoners. Tourists and travelers usually prefer the Green Park for bathing in the sun and for a family outing. The park is calm, quiet and offers complete relaxation for people who work, live in Central London as it is covered with grassland tress. Queens Walk, Constitution Hill and Piccadilly Square are some of the popular areas located around the Green Park. The park was originally a meadow used for hunting and dueling. Temple of Peace and Temple of Concord were some temples other than a library, ice house and lodges which got destroyed with time. The Green Park tube station is the closest London Underground station running on the central line. Piccadilly Circus tube station on the Victoria lines could be your secondary option as you would have to walk for 10 minutes.
