London Planatarium
Established in the Year 1958, the London Planetarium is one of the most popular London attractions. It is extremely popular amongst children and the youngsters. Located close to Madame Tussauds Wax museum, London Planetarium is easily accessible from the Bakersloo tube station. It is owned and managed by the authorities of the Madame Tussauds museum. London Planetarium is the first digital planetarium in the world.
The laser shows held at the venue in the evening are extremely popular in the city. These shows are popularly known as Laseriums. It is not just a tourist’s attraction but is a source of research and education for the students of astronomy in the London University. The Digistar at the planetarium is the most advanced star projector in Europe. It also does the animations of celebrities. The animation show lasts for around 10 minutes and you can see it from 10:20 am to 5 pm. The show cannot be seen for children under the age of 5. Several films related to astronomy can also be seen at the London Planetarium.
