London's Transport Museum
Founded in the year 1980, the London Transport Museum is an extremely popular tourist attraction in London. This renowned museum was recently extended to two different sites. One is known as the London Transport Museum Depot and the other one is known as London Transport Museum. The newly opened branch of the museum is located in the region of Acton and the main museum is sited in the Covent Garden. The London Transport Museum Depot is used more a storage site for the main museum. The collections in the museum exhibit a wide range of trolley buses, artifacts, rail vehicles, buses, trams, which belong to the era of 19th and early 20th century.
The museum also hosts a restaurant and bar known as the Upper Deck Café bar. The museum depot can also be booked for the special events and parties. The cost of the admission ticket is around 10 pounds for the adults and 6 pounds for the students. A special discount is also offered to the senior citizens. The museum is open from 10 am to 6 pm six days a week and is close on Sundays. You can easily access the museum from the Covent Garden tube station.
