National Army Museum
The renowned National Army Museum was established by the Royal Charter in the year 1960. The museum was set up to exhibit the preserves of the historical struggle by the British Army before they attained independence. It is a non departmental public bode and it is sponsored by the Ministry of Defence. The museum offers five mesmerizing galleries – Changing the World, Making of Britain, Fighting for peace, World Wars and Art gallery. It is the most unique and the most significant museums of the British Army. It is entirely dedicated to the Army and martyrs of Britain.
The National Army Museum is the most popular London attractions in Central London and it is easily accessible from the Chelsea, Victoria and Sloane Square tube station. Several other popular places such as Royal Hospital Chelsea and many more are also located close to the National Army Museum. The entry to the museum is absolutely free. You can visit the museum seven days a week from 10 am to 5:30 pm.
