Natural History Museum
Natural History Museum is one of the most crowded London attractions since the year 1881. The museum is located at the Exhibition Road in South Kensington, which is home to several renowned museums in London. The museum is funded by the Culture, Media and Sports Departments. Natural History Museum displays a wide range of specimens belonging to life and earth. Several other categories such as Mineralogy, Botany, Entomology, Zoology and Paleontology are included in the exhibitions displayed in the museum. It also houses a wide range of fabulous art work collections, journals, various books and manuscripts.
The library at the Natural History Museum is also extremely popular but, the entry to the library is restricted to prior appointment. You can also see the specimens collected by the legend Charles Darwin in the section which is completely dedicated to him. The dinosaur skeletons and ornate architecture at the museum are also amongst the most fascinating collections in the museum. You can visit the museum anytime during the year except from 24th to 26th of December when it is closed.
