Regents Park

Covering a huge area of about 166 hectares, the Regents Park is one of the most popular picnic spots in London. This London attraction is also well known amongst the tourists. The park is a home to several beautiful rose gardens with more than 30,000 roses of around 400 varieties. Besides, this park is also renowned for offering excellent sports facilities. It is one of the largest outdoor sports regions in central London. The Regents Park is easily accessible through the Regents Park tube station on the Bakerloo line, St John Wood's and Great Portland tube stations. Local Londoners often visit the park for picnics and family get together.

The Open Air Theatre at the park is also extremely popular. It is a venue for several evening concerts, puppet shows etc. The garden also hosts an on site café which is renowned for offering extremely delicious snacks. The London Zoo also referred as Regents Zoo is also popular especially amongst the children. The London Central Mosque is also one of the major attractions of the Regents Park.
