Sherlock Holmes Museum
Sherlock Holmes Museum is a popular London attractions located at the Baker Street, London. The museum is open throughout the year from 9:30am – 6:00 pm. It displays several collections regarding the fictional character of Sherlock Holmes created by the renowned physician Arthur Conan Doyle. The character of Sherlock Holmes was extremely popular in the late 19th and he still has an amazing fan following all over the world. The museum was opened in London in the year 1990 and since them it is well known amongst the tourists. The museum is managed by the Sherlock Holmes International Society which is non – profit making organization.
Several group visits are also organized at the museum but, the tickets for the group visits are to be booked in advance. The admission charges for the adults are 6 pounds and for the children below the age of 16 years is 4 pounds. The tour of the museum will last for around 45 minutes which also includes the shopping time at the souvenir shop of the museum. A free guide is also available at the museum in around 7 languages.
