Southwark Cathedral
The Southwark Cathedral is a well known tourist attraction in London. It was established in the year 1606 whereas the structure was built between 1220 – 1420. The Southwark Cathedral was also the first Gothic Church in London. The stature of Cathedral was given to the Southwark Church after the year 1905. The church is also used for the annual honorary degree ceremony by the university of London South Bank. The church is also a venue for the medical and dental degree ceremony of the Kings College London. This popular London attraction has always been popular for its glorious history. The Southwark Cathedral is without a doubt one of the most beautiful churches in London. Brother of the great Shakespeare was also buried at the Southwark Church in the year 1607.
