St James's Park
The St James’s Park is one of the largest and the oldest royal parks in Central London. It covers a huge area of around 58 acres and shares its boundary with the royal London attraction Buckingham Palace. Several other tourist attractions such as St James’s Palace, The Mall, Birdcage Walk and the House Guards are also located close to the St James’s Park. The park is home to a wide variety of exotic birds, elephants, crocodiles and camels. Thus you can explore the wildlife along with the pleasant atmosphere and surroundings. The park is exceptionally clean and beautiful.
Tourists often come to this park for picnics. It is also a popular tourist destination in the city. The park is owned by the Royal family of Britain and it is thus a bit unique than other London attractions. Located in the region of Westminster it is surrounded by several other royal parks such as Kensington Gardens, Green Park and Hyde Park. The park is within the easy reach from the St James’s Park tube station, Westminster tube station and Victoria tube station.
