The Cabinet War Rooms
The Cabinet War Rooms is amongst the most popular tourist attractions in London. Earlier the administration of The Cabinet War Rooms was shared with the Property Services Agency whereas now it is solely owned by the Imperial War Museum. It is the same place where the Winston Churchill and his Cabinet operated and controlled the administration of Britain during the Second World War.
The rooms is an underground bunker which functioned during the year 1939 to 1945. It also had a canteen, dormitory, shooting range and hospital inside. The rooms at The Cabinet War include bedrooms, conference rooms, map rooms and meeting hall. The Cabinet members and Churchill use to take rest and sleep in these rooms during the Nazi bombings. You can also see the telephones in the war which was earlier used to communicate with the President Roosevelt in the White House. This London attraction is open from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm on all the days. The admission charges for this London attraction is 12.95 pounds per person. The entry is free for the children under 16 years of age.
