The Tate Modern Gallery
Established in the year 2000, the Tate Modern Art Gallery is amongst the best galleries in UK. It is also one of the top most tourist attractions in London and attracts millions of tourists every year. The Tate Modern displays a wide range of modern art in the city. Tate Modern is another gemstone in the group of Tate museums – Tate Online, Tate Liverpool, Tate St Ives and Tate Britain. A wide range of contemporary art works are included in the collections at the gallery.
The collections at the gallery are divided into different groups such as landscape, history, art, culture, etc. The entry to the gallery is absolutely free of charge and you can easily access the gallery from South Walk London underground. Some of the most exceptional British and international art is also displayed at the gallery. Guided tours are also offered at the gallery, which can help you to explore this beautiful attraction in a better way. The Tate Modern is also well known for organizing exhibitions quite often. The entry to the special exhibitions is chargeable.

Admission
Admission to the gallery is free, but donations from visitors are needed to support the gallery's work. You can also help by visiting the Shops, Café and restaurant or by joining Tate Members. The Support Us section of this site gives more information about how to help the gallery financially and the benefits that supporters gain.
Access & Disabled Facilities.
Entry for wheelchairs, prams, and buggies is via the River Entrance or via the Café Entrance situated next to the Main Entrance ramp.
Ten wheelchairs are available on request for use by visitors.
Events for deaf and hard of hearing people
There are four free Guided Tours every day, at which the Guide uses an induction loop transmitter and you may borrow a portable neck loop from the main information desk.
There are regular monthly talks in BSL or interpreted into BSL and free family activities which are BSL supported and designed to be suitable for deaf adults and children.
