Tower of London

The Tower of London is one of the most popular London attraction. Located in the Borough of Tower Hamlets in Central London, this London landmark was also used by the famous writer – Shakespeare in his several works. The structure of the Tower of London overlooks the beauty of the northern banks of the River Thames. It is said that the Tower of London was built by the great conqueror – Sir Williams in the year 1078. The six clipped winged ravens in the tower are also popular amongst the tourists. A myth is also followed for the tower – it is believed that if any of the ravens leave the fortress the tower will fall. You can also explore the crown jewels, the Kohinoor and the Cullinan I at the collections displayed in the tower.

The entry to the tower will cost you around 17 pounds per adult and 9.50 pounds per child. The tower is open for the tourists seven days a week from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm. If you are a student then you can carry your ID proof and can avail a special student discount on your entry.
